- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I had an excellent watch buying experience with sales assoc. Bryan Westmiller and the others at Old Northeast in St. Pete. He showed me several different styles of watches to start for the purpose of figuring out what I liked so he knew what to show me, he did not push me on my price, did the work to switch out bands (rather than ask me to just visualize how it might look with a different band), and just took great care of the overall sale. - ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Very satisfied with my new Omega watch. This store has a comprehensive selection of Omega watches. Bryan was my salesperson and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Both mine and my wife's watch needed batteries. For a surprise, she decided to take them to NE Jewelers while on her break. She was asked what "brand they were" and upon answering was told that they cannot work on those brands as they are not licensed to service them. In other words, my Fossil watch and her Invicta watch are beneath them to replace the batteries. The sad part to this story is that they could've charged her just about anything, easy money. They simply did not want to do it. The funny part about experiences like this is that we found another jeweler who was more than willing to accept our "pittance" of business and will now have loyal customers. They lost our easy, meager business for replacing batteries and the potential of future business because of the attitude that something is "beneath" them.
