  Went into this location to open a savings and checking account. Was not greeted by anyone until I was at the teller window, where three people were just standing there talking to each other. I was told by one of the three people to have a seat and someone would be with me shortly. After waiting for 10 minutes, and no other clients coming in the door I left. This was the most unprofessional and rude staff I have ever witnessed at a bank. As a former employee of Chase, this location does not adhere to the customer first values the bank prides themself with. Thankfully, living in Pinellas county there are hundreds of other places I can invest my money and I will NEVER do any business with Chase again.

  Lied to about the availability of a mortgage. I discussed buying a house through the city of st petersburg with a mortgage broker. Made it very clear that any such house would come with a second interest free mortgage through the city for closing costs. I was told that chases dreammaker mortgage would accept this secondary financing and was pre-approved for a mortgage. Gave chase's mortgage broker the contact info for the city finance officer and the listing agent just to double check. Once i was under contract the mortgage broker said that no-one was qualified to process the loan at chase. That the mortgage that they specifically recommended was not available because they had no one qualified to execute the loan. Magically once my money is down on the table chase no longer has the ability to do business, incredibly poor business and sales ethics.
