- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Numerous requests to close an account, they still didn't close it. They keep charging fees for an account that was requested to be closed numerous times. BB&T lost it's customer service at some point, in my opinion they are nothing but a bunch of crooks. Take your money elsewhere, better yet, keep it in your backyard. As long as they don't have your mortgage with them that might be your best bet.By Tim Macking, March 31, 2017
